Looking for fun, colour, and a little artistic mischief? This abstract acrylic workshop at Bayside Makerspace is your ticket to two hours of pure creative play. No pressure, no rules—just vibrant paint, expressive shapes, and plenty of encouragement to let your imagination lead the way.
What you’ll do
Guided by local abstract artist Naomi, you’ll dive into colour, texture, and form—learning simple techniques to build bold, expressive artworks. Don’t worry if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before. This class is designed for absolute beginners, curious dabblers, and anyone ready to shake off perfectionism and create something uniquely their own.

Yes! We understand you may have come straight from work, you’re welcome to bring your dinner, snacks and drinks for yourself or to share. Huddlers can often be found popping into the fish and chip shop nearby.

The Huddle door is open and available between 6.30pm to 9pm, this is a self-guided experience so zero pressure to arrive at 6.30pm or stay til 9pm however long you’re able to carve out for your creative cup filling is perfect.

YES!! Most Huddlers come alone and this is the greatest thing about Huddle you can come along alone or bring friends but either way you’ll have a creative community to hang out with.
