What you’ll do
Join us for an exciting Melbourne workshop at the Bayside Makerspace, where you will learn how to make the most out of your Cricut with heat transfer vinyl! Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their crafting skills.
In this class, you will discover the endless possibilities of heat transfer vinyl and create beautiful designs on custom gifts, t-shirts, earrings, tote bags and more!Guided by your friendly teacher, Sez, you will start with simple one-cut designs and gradually move on to multi-layer vinyl projects.
You'll learn which weeding method works best for different projects and how to customise designs already available in Design Space.
To ensure a personalised experience, our small class size allows for more content, project outcomes, and plenty of question time! We want to make sure you leave feeling confident and ready to create your own multi-layer projects or customise existing designs.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have gained newfound Cricut skills and will take home your own personalised heat transfer vinyl projects to cherish for years to come.

What you'll get
Your choice of materials and blanks available for one to three projects.
We'll provide all Cricut machines to use, tools, heat press, materials, and show you how to use and customize project designs.

All tools and machinies and materials to create the class projects. Please bring your own laptop or tablet with Design Space software downloaded and ready to use in class. Please note a mobile phone is not suitable for this class.

Each workshop has a variety of projects to use as we’ll learn our new Cricut skills! This could be a greeting card, a gift bag, a vinyl keychain it all depends on the class.

Our workshops run for 2 hours.

Whilst these workshops are aimed at an adult learning level we accept children with a paying adult accompanying. Not recommended for under 10 years old.
